Air France award booking questions

We had to cancel some flights pre covid and redeposit so sitting on miles we transferred from Amex few years ago. Looking to travel in October, hopefully, and notice that Air France is waiving the already small fee to cancel and redeposit. Only concern is taxes are relatively steep, $241 per person and three traveling. I'm wondering if I should be concerned any longer with paying these and then if cancel being able to get them back as cash, not vouchers. Should I? Are they refunding relatively quickly?

I also would want to book on one account two of us, then one on another account, not enough miles in either for three of them. Do they allow a hold on a reservation, even if a short period?

Lastly when looking at availability the calendar showed a day when it was 53K points, but then when I pan down to the available flights 72K was the least expensive. Why does the calendar award not match the actual award. Seems a bit bait and switch, is it some kind of glitch? This is with only one traveler selected.
