I think if this were me I’d easily choose MSP given that it’s D1 vs. F. The 763 J seat isn’t very good by any measure, but it’s still a lot better than a domestic F seat and I want to minimize my time in domestic F on the positioning flight and maximize the lie-flat time on the flight to Hawaii. The product on board should also be a step higher than what will be offered on a non D1 Hawaii flight.
