Looking at IAD-SLC-HNL, the flights arrived at SLC at B2, B2, B5 and A4; they departed for HNL from A21, A19 and A21.

look at the *times* and not just the gates … we’re talking about flights that leave both MSP and SLC around noon

yes, a forced overnight is a possibility, but realistically that’s an edge case that probably shouldn’t figure in anyone’s calculus about selecting one connecting point over another

btw, very nice description of the walks, and things to do in SLC if that forced overnight becomes a reality
