Same problem here. Submitted online for a voucher last friday, email with ticket opening, then nothing. When I called in yesterday and spoke with a Doha- (presumably) based agent, he said the Voucher request had never been submitted, and he was doing so now. Called in today having not received any email or anything in the 24 hours since the previous call or any response about the issue on twitter, was told it can take up to 21 days :/. Wonder what answer I will get when I call in tomorrow.
There's no reason to call in everyday as QR doesn't send any form of acknowledgement of an EMD request.
These requests are all sent to the back office in Doha where it has to be manually converted. Some call centres also have the ability to convert simple tickets into EMDs.
