Note that the landside walkway remains closed due to construction (and I'm not sure when it is reopening). You have three choices:

1) Go up to the Airtrain and go one stop.
2) Walk through the parking garage - to into the garage and then follow signs to T2 (to the right).
3) Walk around the airport the other way (to the left). This should be approximately a 15 minute brisk walk, through the International Terminal and T3. The airport is actually a complete loop. If I had time to spare, and traveling light, I'd take the walk.

Your connection will actually be an easy airside connection - one day soon!
