Stayed for few nights during week. Observations:
- Used points to upgrade to Deluxe View Suite. Room 1105. Same layout as standard suites on higher floor AFAICT.
- Big room, lots of space. Some furniture is worn or stained. Couch is uncomfortable. No microwave or wet bar. Ocean views are mostly obstructed by Pendry and Mondrian. Nice space to work and solid internet. Comfortable bed.
- Valet parking $49/day. Parking garage next door.
- Breakfast available at Riot House. Sit down or take out.
- Strange “World of Hyatt Suite Award” charge in folio. Was removed immediately when asked. Other fees and charges were removed without asking.
- Solid property, nice location in West Hollywood. Sunset Boulevard has a lot of history. But Hyatt needs more high-end options for LA.
