If not, I will sign up with AMEX for just the easy of handling claims.
They require pretty much same documents as any coverage provided by VISA/MC.
Claim form
Rental agreement
Police report
Photos of damage
Itemized damage claim letter from rental agency (maybe not itemized for a small claim)
Utilization report if rental company claiming loss of use
Bolded is absolutely required. Other depends on circumstances of damage.
Other credit card coverage would probably want PDF statement proving rental was charged to the card while AMEX may/may not require.
