Just finished a quick stay here for a long layover and would highly recommend it for folks looking at a DFW hotel. They have top notch customer service and will go above and beyond to solve any issues. I used the Hyatt App to text the hotel about my arrival time of 8AM, and they accommodated without issues. The day prior to check in, I received an email about upgrade to highest floor Deluxe King. During check in, I met the concierge who sent the original welcome email, and they also provided a complimentary bag of chocolates. Minimal construction noise from the floor above.
The bathroom felt more retro 80s, black tiled bathrooms, but the main room is modern with touch button controls. No vouchers for breakfast, and was automatically taken off the folio during checkout. Breakfast was good (ordered breakfast tacos and a berry bowl).
Being the first time here, the hotel is located at the D terminal, on the departure side of the terminal before you go through TSA. So you'll have to go through TSA again for your flight (general boarding TSA line).
I would come back again.
