I'm the OP. Tried to change to two single seats and website won't allow. So as of now we are 5G and K - across aisle from each other. We can go back to being next to each other in middle section 5 D and G but I was told then we would have to walk around plane to even get to each other and difficult to communicate between the 2 middle seats. But just making sure that going back to middle two seats doesn't make more sense for a couple? I know I'm obsessing about something months away, but this is a RARE biz class experience for us and so want to optimize it. Thanks so much for your input. (p.s. I guess I could call JAL and try to book two aisle seats even tho website won't let me....)
