Can someone confirm I should be earning base miles from AA flights + bonus miles as an AS elite?

Prior to my most recent flight, I was getting at least 100% bonus miles on my AA flights, which makes sense, as I was MVP Gold. On my most recent (one-way) AA flight, from LGA to ORD, at 733 miles, posted after I became a 75K, my total miles earned were 733. Should it be 733 + 916 (125%)? economy ticket - don't recall fare code, but assume one with regular earning and not a basic economy ticket. Thanks in advance!
