Ports of entry covers more than just airports of entry. Not that seaports of entry really count for that much nowadays with what is going on with the cruise scene.
Each traveler will have to weight the plus vs. minuses.
CLEAR pass allows for saving of traveler profile(s) in advance AND passport MRZ scanning for free. Airside requires subscription for both.
The only ports missing from CLEAR app is PHL and San Juan cruise despite CLEAR webpage indicated support for both.
Having to manually key in one traveler each time for Airside is a bit of effort to ensure accuracy but imagine having to do that for a family of four.
