Apologies if this has been discussed previously.

We plan to fly from US to South Africa via Quatar with a group of three people (one couple and one parent).
We understand that Qatar Airways will not block the fourth seat in the Qsuite.
What kind of privacy will we have with regards to the fourth person?
I see from the photos that there are partitions between the forward- and rear-facing seats that open when dining.
Can either one side or the other of the partition be closed so that the view of the 4th person is minimized?
A lot will depend on the 4th person themselves obviously. Some people immerse themselves in their computer/book/movie/sleep the entire flight and will fade into the background, but other travelers are less-than-subtle.

Two other non-related questions:
- Is there a difference between the planes leaving from Dallas vs Houston?
- Aside from the Qsuite, is Emirates a preferable choice for business class? (Or Etihad?)
