There is one more flight from DFW-MSY if she misses her connection but guessing that will be full. Every time we've done this route with American, flight has been full capacity and it wasn't even a holiday wknd. I can get her on flight SBA-PHX-MSY with 54 min layover for $130 more. Flights from SBA-PHX usually do come in on time, if not early. Maybe that's my best/safest bet?
