Given it’s Thanksgiving and I’m assuming you have somewhere you want to be particularly on time, if there’s an option for a longer layover I’d probably select it. If you have no other option then it is what it is and should be fine, but given how busy of a weekend that is for travel, if you misconnect there may be few if any alternative options.
