Of course they'd offer this AFTER I already paid for the remaining trips this year and made some bigger purchases, otherwise 15k would have been easy enough.
Based on the terms and conditions, I think you're ok if you've paid for trips but are flying them in 9/1-12/31:
"Offer applies to eligible purchased, published fares flown between September 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021. Flights flown before September 1, 2021, aren’t eligible"
I, too, was surprised it doesn't seem to exclude flights purchased prior to announcement with travel in the applicable period.
