We were all warned, that travel to Australia was at your own risk. We were all warned, that the bubble can be paused at any time. We were all warned that when you go to Australia, should covid cases cause the border to be closed, New Zealand will not get you home, and you may have to do MIQ. I feel a lot of sympathy for the reasons these people left the country but I don't feel a lot of sympathy when people acknowledge that they were made aware of the risks, chose to take the risk, and now that the risk has hit them, say that the rules should suddenly change...
I agree. We are all aware of the risks. Always have a back up plan. If you can afford to remain in Australia, remain and keep calm as no one has said the travel bubble pause will last forever. If you can't stay in Australia for long, rebook the next flight home as soon as community transmission cases appear.
