Two weeks ago, lots of Kicks and Encore GX, and Nissans. Nothing fancy. I picked Altima but shortened my reservation from two months to two weeks.
Two days ago, I was able to pick Ford Edge Titanium, 1.5k miles, with a sunroof. There was an another edge, without a sunroof, 5k miles.
At the gate, an agent stopped me and said the car is not for me since I booked midsize. I told her I'm PC, and she called somewhere to confirm Edge was in the PC section for real. After confirmation, she let me go. She said it was not common these days.
I guess Hertz bought many SUVs, but I assume people prefer smaller cars because of their price for rent. So they put these in the PC section, IMHO.
