I tried to reach BA customer service for 14 h today, from 8 AM to 10 PM. I wanted to rebook a cancelled flight. I had no luck. I was put on hold for 1h at a time, then disconnected, I was snobbed by the BA Gold line, I was literally ignored on Twitter and then
​​​the reservation system failure due to IT issues happened.


Anyway, I persevered and called their nightline at 0207 949 3064. It is available if you have cancellation issues over the next 24h or so. There were no waiting times and the representatives were friendly. I can finally get back home to the US. If you're in the same deep trouble I was, then give them a call after 8 pm.
