Certainly not beach weather at that time of year, but there's lots to do on Malta (places to visit etc.) and the buses are fantastic ... like stepping back in time !!

There's a Thai massage parlour near the Hilton which is excellent, (not what you're thinking ) proper Thai massages !!

Good local food as well and a near-by casino which is a good evening out.
... and the international Blue Elephant is a quite good Thai restaurant that is located in the Hilton itself.
