I was able to find lowest R fares JFK to AMD via google flights (and checking Qatar price instead of OTA prices), then use Qatar site calendar to confirm and find best/lowest priced busness class fares and use the discount on the lowest R fare I was willing to book with flights I wanted. Definitely lowered round trip by the $550 advertised for each ticket for the 2 tickets I booked at $2067.99 each for January/February trip.
