1) it just continues to show that US airlines typically offer horrible service to passengers. They see passengers merely as cash cows. There’s absolutely no reason to treat passengers so poorly, whether it’s economy or business.

I did think about the blogger danger before posting here. However, KLM is committed to free changes and refundable vouchers on its website through the end of 2021.
