If you have shoes that dont fit the criteria then dont take them off. When you get sent down for secondary, complain to a supervisor about it. Mention accountability. Say that they are giving TSA a bad reputation but be sure that your shoes dont fit the criteria before you do this. One of our screeners went through New Orleans the other day and ran into this. Ended up badging the screener on duty and getting a supervisor ot intervene.
Excellent news, eyecue! Screeners when they are travelling are the perfect watchdogs for consistency, so thanks for spreading the news that screeners in your location are calling the rest of the checkpoints on their errors.
