The Edition hardware was ok but you should book a higher level room / suite as some of the lower level rooms lacked privacy and were small.
Bodrum EDITION is known to upgrade Bonvoy elites so if going in April or October it should be fine, but in the busy summer upgrades will be more difficult so indeed booking the higher room types might be a good idea. The suites on the top floor of each building block are great because not only you don't have a neighbor above you, but also these have a sun roof which make the room brighter
