Question about an LAX-DXB via DOH Q Suites flight that I have upcoming.... Reward ticket using AA miles.. Is it normal to not be able to change seats (or even see a seat map on QR site)? And of course I cant assign seats on AA site. I called in to QR when originally making the booking and assigned seats. However, just got a message my trip changed. No explanation why but I can see the only change was Business to First for the DOH to DXB. I guess QR decided to make this route First to match how most (all?) their other ME flights are considered First. This is a good thing as I assume it means I can access Al Safwa but i lost my seat in the process of this switch .The long haul seat was not changed. I hope the 77W is still the one with Q Suites for the short haul but I cant see a seat map. Waited on hold with QR for 90 minutes and hung up. So there is no way to just get myself a seat online for the short haul?
