We were here two separate nights. The first stay, I paid for their top suite and really enjoyed it. It had the bedroom, the living room, and a full kitchen. The surprise was the no walk in shower and only one sink.
The second stay, I used points. I thought Hyatt House was above Hyatt Place. This was my first Hyatt House stay and I found it below Hyatt Place. Our room did not have a separate living area; it had a chaise at the wall beyond the bed. It had a microwave and a mini frig outside the bathroom. The bathroom had a walk in shower which I prefer. The hotel was completely sold out, thus I got the room that I had booked.
There is a surprising amount of street noise in either room. Both rooms had ear plugs by the bed. Obviously others find the noise level an issue.
The lobby is attractive and a nice place to hang out.
If I return to Anchorage, I'll try the Hyatt Place. It is only a few blocks from Hyatt House.
Hyatt House offers complimentary transfers to the airport.
