I looked into residences at the W Aspen, but I don’t have enough time available to make the system work. They wanted four or eight weeks (can’t remember which), it wasn’t your typical buy a week deal.
How does it work in regards to time? We are considering buying an apartment in one of the Ritz residences in Miami outright (not a timeshare or anything). It is my understanding that they will let you book the property for your usage when you are there and rent it out hotel style for you when you are not there.

We did something similar at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas where they only charge a one time cleaning fee for owner usage.

In terms of benefits, I’m just curious if residents have a custom booking portal. I have seen/heard of this a few times and am curious if this is just for your apartment or all Marriott properties. Also asked our broker to look into it so can update the thread when I learn more.
