This property seems to have a crazy history. It opened as a Le Meridien in the 1980s, became independent as The Argent in the 1990s, and transitioned into the Westin Market Street in 2007. Then, in 2015, the property dropped the Westin branding and became The Park Central, but it stayed in SPG/Bonvoy (no brand, not even a collection brand) until late last year. Now, it's a Hyatt with plans to be renovated and rebranded into the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SoMa, per https://www.bizjournals.com/sanfranc...e-a-hyatt.html.

It's still quite funny, though, to look at the current room photos on Hyatt's website and see all of those quintessential Westin touches.
