Now that is most definitely true. The segmentation of classes has been quite smart and strategical anyway, the way Lufthansa did it in the past: unbearable coach, a much better but still odd and flawed C, and a really cozy F. So the price quantum leaps hat some proportionality to what you got.
This is what makes Mayrhuber's new C such an odd phenomenon. Even if F goes down the drain, there is nothing in between an advanced but unaffordable C product and a truly Ryan Airish coach class.

But that was off topic. As the fleet to SA is not going to be upgraded to the new product anytime soon, Varig is no improvement either, and SAA is not yet available, it's probably worth slaughtering the additional miles for the F seat.
