The booster issue is a good point, though still unconfirmed in the UJ. Here the locat record will do since the rollout will probably use a combination of age/health condition and the date of the last vaccine. While I suspect a local record won't get picked up by any central invitation process, it will be obvious to your GP staff, and the booster programme will be almost certainly GP led.
That doesn't fill me with confidence. My local GP surgery was absolutely useless pre-Covid and has apparently got worse. I don't know a single patient who has anything good to say about them, but they are the only ones nearby so most people don't have a choice but to be registered with (and then usually ignored by) them.
