I agree with others that its probably ok but why not just take the hotel/Parking lot shuttle its pretty good IMHO
And they run regularly..Besides the massive onslaught of vehicles in and out of LAX call me a wus but I see things slightly more dangerous all over now
I personally don't want to be a casualty anywhere
Every city I have been to San Francisco,Chicago Los Angeles etc including my own has more desperate individuals as we come out of Covid floating around
Ive heard gun shots in Fisherman's Wharf recently outside the hotel and 5 shootings the weekend I was in Chicago
I've seen some really mentally unstable folks out there that may or not be dangerous
The LAX area isn't Manhattan Beach or Beverly Hills in safety and I would advise especially at night to possibly reconsider..
