I've some family members taking longhaul UA flights (and I have their booking reference and ticket number) - I'd like to anonymously get them upgraded using my plus points.

If I request an upgrade using my pluspoints, but don't let them know that I've done this, will my name be visible on their booking record for them to know that my pluspoints were used to upgrade their reservations?
