I would just call and ask for the reinstatement and see if the fee is mentioned or kindly ask for a waiver if it is. A $75 reinstatement fee seems pretty reasonable to me for reactivating an account that can be inactive for up to a year.

I called.. and asked if there’s a fee. And they said no, due to current circumstances. Agent even added 1 mile to my account so it counts as an activity and she said that my account would therefore be valid for another two years from today.
I plan to transfer some Marriott points over. Hopefully I can travel again soon..
