The benefit is one breakfast for the Gold cardholder and one guest so two breakfast in total, independent on the number of too
s booked. If one or more guests in the second, third etc. room holds a Gold or above most hotels will give them comped breakfast as well.
My experience is that during the years leading up to COVID-19 pandemic, hotels has in general been less generous in making exemptions and expand the breakfast benefit above the card holder and one. guest. However sometimes it still happens [even during the current troublesome time].
