The scene in the premier check in was normal LAX unpleasantness X 10 - absolute chaos.....50% of the kiosks broken, the other half only had one UA employee floating back and forth having to deal with issues and one very slow moving non-UA employee pulling bag tags off the back of the machine, and only one person in the live check in dealing with the non kiosk issues. As a 1K it took me 45 minutes just to drop my bag and there were dozens of rather frustrated other UA elites in the same boat. First world problems, but not a good look by UA this morning....plan accordingly.
