I feel AS jumped the gun on announcing the agreement with DL... since no one has any idea on how the program will even work. I wish AS would get the DL EQM's figured out.... I'd happily throw DL some business. I need to purchase some tickets to Europe over the next couple days, and I'd happily give DL a chance, however, I'll book AA and NW if there isn't a clear answer on EQM's.

If they take the same approach as DL does with its MQM's, GOODBYE DL, to bad I didn't even get to know ya. Within DL's plan, L, U, and T fares only earn 50% MQM's. If they pass that on to AS, I'll never have incentive to fly them. As it is, their "U" fares to Europe are more expensive than AA. In order the get an "H" or higher fare, the price nearly doubles!! Now why would anyone pay more for 50% EQM's, or double for 100% EQM's, when you can pay less on AA or NW?

I need to purchase a flight to London for 11/5... I would love to take advantage of the DL promotions, but not for 50% EQM's.
