Good stay
Been a while since any updates for this property so I’d figured I’d offer one.
Came into SFO around 10:30p and we were picked up from the curb at about 11:15p. Shuttle driver was friendly enough and the drive was quick.
Small line at the hotel to check in, but we were checked in quickly and our request for a connecting room was honored.
Rooms were comfortable. They are definitely showing their age, especially in the bathrooms, but they were super clean and quiet. We just needed a place to rest our heads for the night before heading into downtown the next day and it worked well.
Breakfast benefit for Gold (and I think Diamond) was $10 credit for up to two guests per room. The app said that it would be $10 for two guests for UP TO one room, but we were given a credit for both of our rooms so $40 in total. The breakfast is packaged as grab and go, but you can eat in the restaurant. You can either order in person at the restaurant or over the phone (although another guest said the phone was ringing for 10+ minutes).
The line to order moved so slowly and we were told that our food would take 30-40 minutes because it was so busy and they would call us when ready. Luckily, it only took about 20 before we got the call. The food was actually very tasty—eggs cooked well, nice pieces of fruit, warm pastries in the continental option. Continental was $9 while the full american was $18, so the credit will either completely cover it or only about halfway.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Overall, the rooms and breakfast situation could have been improved slightly, but this hotel serves its purpose and was a pleasant stay.
