I have dual US/CAN citizenship and trying to plan a trip to see my 95 year old mother in Saskatoon. It has been two years now and would love to go up to see her. We are both fully vaccinated.

I could drive to Toronto or drive to Buffalo and take a cab over the border, but don't know what to do next. I can't jump on a YYC to YXE Westjet flight, correct?

I have family I could stay with in Calgary. Is that the best route to quarantine there and then drive to Saskatoon? Any suggestions are welcome!!

Does it sound like things will open up in August?
