Yup. Mazel tov for AS if it can sell those seats (and it probably will), but I recently booked an SFO/JFK for July travel over a month out (for which I'd have booked EWR if AS could have served me properly). AS could only get me one direction nonstop at $7xx, the other way was with a connection at even more $, and so I booked DL at $6-something each way, lie flat, with lounges on both ends, at times that serve me well. (Times that didn't serve me well were actually a lot more $ on DL.)
