It's just been closed since the start of Covid. I fully expect it to re-open.
As regards their books - they have been hosting a lot of offshore / ship workers / quarantine passengers, so I think not as bad as it could have been (e.g. Treetops, DoubleTree and Garden Inn are all closed now).
The two Hamptons in Aberdeen (Dyce / Westhill) have been used for offshore workers prior to helicopter flights offshore and have not been bookable by the public.
I hope you are right , I genuinely do but my gut feeling is it will close and it will eventually become a corporate/ private bar that they can rent out to make money, I say this because two, possibly three uk lounges have closed and removed the executive lounge symbol from their website under the cover of covid.
I could be wrong and I happily be so but if I was a betting man ( I’m not ) I would put my money on this.
