Wow I thought I read wrong when I first saw the thread title.

Never expected to see CX of all airlines to open up their lounge to Priority Pass, let alone the F class lounge.

Having said that, I agree with the above guesses that this is probably just a temporary measure for them to capture some extra revenue.
