The beaches around Condado are kinda small and crappy. I was going to recommend the El San Juan Hilton (which used to be a Waldorf) and now it is a Fairmont.

The apparently new Ritz there used to be a CY and had really good food. I was going to suggest the Intercontinental if you had IHG points, but that's now a Sonesta. Man, lots of stuff has changed since I was there 2 years ago.
