BA's "Book with Confidence" policy will likely allow you to cancel and convert your booking into a future travel evoucher (FTV) which can then be used to book the flights you actually want. Lots of info elsewhere on the forum in that.

Often flights to / from EU destinations are cheaper than to LHR, so you might actually benefit.
