The messaging projected by G7 leaders was awful. I think they let their masks down and showed us what they really think, like everyone else, they're tired of the restrictions. In the beginning, they distanced and wore masks, but numerous photos showed them maskless and in each other's faces while partying. But then again, at the beginning of this pandemic, we were told by Fauci and the CDC that masks were useless for COVID protection until they reversed course. So many holes in the COVID narrative.
Truth is, it was all uncharted territory and nobody knew the right answers. Educated guesswork. But I agree, very poorly handled and messaged. Looking back, the narrative was terrible and inconsistent. Confusing at best, scientifically wrong at worst. Nobody is perfect. Including doctors and DEFINITELY politicians. Us too.
