If you want the best of both worlds (ocean pool view+beach) and don't want to pay for an upgrade, I'd ask for a reef vila in the 300's. The beach from Nava extends all the way up and there are little cabana and chair setups that are pretty private. Arguably the beach is as private as the beach villa block by Tasting Table. We walked from our room to Nava every day and never saw another person on that section of beach. There is more traffic from watersports, but you won't get the passersby.
