I am attempting to rent a car from a downtown location and return to an airport location 2 days later. I am getting no cars available and prompted to try increasing my length.

So if I add another day I can get cars no problem. Is this a concern about available capacity at the airport location to receive returned rentals on the day I am trying to use?

If I add another day and return a day early I assume they will just take the car anyways. The rates are actually pretty cheap so it won’t hurt my feelings if they charge me for the extra day that I am not using.
