You would need to await possible extension of the policy to allow rebooking to LH Group beyond 30 June. I'm in the same boat.

In your situation you would be able to req. LH all the way to ORD? (KRK-FRA/MUC-ORD rather than KRK to LHR with LH/LX/OS and then BA or AA to ORD).
