meanwhile you can earn UXP on any AF/KL marketed flight (not sure if it should be only skyteam or not) , regardless of booking class
i do amit that HON has a lot of hard benefits , when you compare with FB Ulti and their "soft benefits" which are not always offered and dont cost AFKL much , but if you are able to afford what it takes to get these 600k M&M miles then HON is probably the latest of your concerns in life

Indeed, the way to gain miles is quite different between AK & KL
Let's take an example between CDG & GRU for AF and ZRH & GRU with LX in F
With AF round trip : 120 UXP --> 15 flights to get Ulti
With LX round trip : 35 000 status miles --> > 16 flights to reach HON
In J, it would be :
With AF : 72 UXP --> 25 flights
With LX : around 18 000 miles --> 33 flights which is indeed much more
I was curious so I checked my AF statistics : between 5 & 6 times the earth circonference per year
