I could get a Covid test in Bangkok before I head to the airport and await for the results to be sent to me mid-flight ready for entering the lounge during the transit but I’d rather not add on the additional hassle and expense.
Just get a PCR test which is valid much longer.
OP here had the (easier/cheaper) antigen version, which only lasts 24hrs, which is enough for being admitted to some countries - usually those more desperate for tourists
