Congratulations on requalifying for AAdvantage Executive Platinum membership. This year, rather than sending new elite cards at the beginning of 2005, we're sending new cards immediately upon requalification. Your enclosed AAdvantage Executive Platinum card is valid until February 28, 2006.

Also, to recognize your requalification for our highest AAdvantage level, we are giving you your allocation of eight systemwide one-way upgrades now instead of waiting until early 2005. In the future, you will receive these upgrades when you requalify for AAdvantage Executive Platinum membership and no longer have to wait until the beginning of each year.

We are currently enhancing our upgrade bank to process both 500-mile and systemwide upgrades electronically. Until this is completed, please continue to call the Executive Platinum Service Desk when you want to use the systemwide upgrades* you've earned. A representative will be glad to help you, and we'll simply deduct the number of the upgrades you use from the total you're entitled to. In addition, if your travel plans change and you cancel a reservation that includes a systemwide upgrade, please call the Executive Platinum Service Desk. Then that upgrade may be reused as long as it hasn't expired.*
