I looked at the mixed class awards and yeah I can then find some availability by changing HND-CTS to Y. Now I'm just finding a lack of flights from HND-CTS that fit with the inbound JFK-HND leg. I would have thought HND-CTS would be very common with many flights a day but quarantine maybe has changed that a little and they reduced the number of flights. Guess I'll just keep checking and hopefully something will line up, at least I can search now though. Thank you!
There are a lot of flights cancelled at the moment, but it sort of happens in 2-3 months blocks at a time, so if you are looking beyond that horizon, then you will see the usual schedule and the actual availability on the usual schedule.
If you are planning to travel while the current restrictions are in place, be aware that you are not allowed to take a domestic flight the first 14 days after arriving from outside of Japan due to the quarantine requirements.
